Charles grew up fascinated by the bustling delis, dim sum halls, bakeries, and markets of New York City that his family frequented and was raised with a passionate appreciation of food, the stories it tells, and its power to bring people together.
A veteran of the specialty food world, he started his career behind the cheese counter of Zingerman's Deli, practicing servant leadership, running shifts, creating and teaching classes, and traveling the world to learn about food.
Since then he's spent years developing life-long industry connections and promoting extraordinary brands through various retail and food service partners nationwide. He specializes in business development, food education, and inspiring others.
